Leaders bring together the biggest names in sport, connecting senior leaders through events and marketing intelligence, designed to develop sport on and off the field. Leaders wanted to better understand their audience, invest their marketing spend wisely and ultimately increase goal conversions.
We set to work by first of all, learning - enhancing tracking, running workshops with the teams, reviewing the CX and making assumptions (ready to test later). We created an analytics dashboard which empowered the internal team to have visibility of the data, understand what it means, and develop ideas of their own. Over the following few months, we ran split tests on the existing website to define the areas that needed improvement. This resulted in a 7% increase in ticket sales for Leaders Week London (that’s a lot of tickets!).
Leaders then commissioned us to re-design and optimise their entire website. By using the insights we had already developed, and our now intimate knowledge of the business, it was possible for us to make quick, informed decisions together and re-design the event micro-sites in a matter of weeks, rather than months.
Our process enabled a culture change to design for continuous improvement (lean UX) and as such goal conversions are up 70% on this time last year. The focus is now on developing the rest of the ‘Leaders’ website, so watch this space.
